Ode to my Ancestors

As I bask in the every minute of love this day, I am called to reflect on those who have gone before me. I feel deep in my heart, the resilience that was passed on to me. The strength to endure and to keep going. I acknowledge the women in my lineage. They did all they could in the ways they knew how. I acknowledge the men in my ancestry. I know that wisdom came to light at the very end. Thank you all for not giving up.

I honor my life and of those before me by living the best life I want for me. A life of gratitude and joy. Of freedom and passion. Honesty and openness. In full trust and knowing, that I am loved. I am worthy of all the beautiful things, experiences and connections. There is no limit nor ceiling to how wonderful my life can be. As long as I choose it so. Until the end of my time.
